Invisible teak protection treatment

This invisible solvent-based protection treatment for exotic woods (teak, Iroko, etc.) provides effective, long-lasting protection against weathering, UV A & B, pollution and stains (grease, oil, etc.).

The product works by impregnating the wood, penetrating deeply without altering the natural colours of the wood or damaging the joints (tested and approved to ISO 37 standard on Sikaflex 290). It also maintains a non-slip surface for the comfort of users.

In addition to protection, Absolute Teak provides a hydrophobic effect on the treated surface and considerably slows down the wear and greying of the wood thanks to a UV filter. 

To make maintenance easier, it limits the growth of algae, moss and mould.

It can be used on various exotic woods (teak, Iroko, etc.) and on different surfaces such as terraces, decks, furniture, etc.

Instructions for use:

Before applying the protective treatment, it is essential to clean the surface (phases 1 & 2) and make sure it is completely dry. 

Application temperature: between 10 and 25 °C

Coverage: +/- 20 m2 per litre 

Application 

1. Shake the container to distribute the molecules
2. Apply the product generously with a brush, spray gun or roller in the direction of the wood.
3. Leave to dry for at least 1 hour 

It is important to protect the surface from water and other elements for at least 24 hours to allow the product to dry thoroughly. 

To ensure optimum protection, we recommend applying the product at least twice a year.
